sorry homestuck has temporarily taken over my blog, i swear i talk and think about other things, probably to a greater extent than homestuck even
but i had a thought, and the thought goes like this
dirk likes puppets right, like his whole thing is puppets
read a formspring from hussie once stating that at least for vriska, god tier is basically a fully evolved realization of who someone is as a person (this contrasts with kanaya’s theory that someone’s sburb title is meant to challenge them, but i’ll hold out deciding which is true until UU confirms it becaus she totally will)
dirk’s title is prince of heart
prince is a destroyer class and heart translates to soul
he interpreted this as destroyer of souls
if this is true, he’ll basically be able to remove someone’s feelings and agency, right, because soul?
so a shell of a person left behind with no feelings or agency is kind of like a doll, or a dummy
or a puppet
theory is dirk as prince of heart will basically be the god of puppetmasters, in the creepiest possible way. and will be able to force his enemies to work to serve his interests in some way, since, you know…they won’t have their own interests anymore.
